Rescued puppy thrown from car seeks a new future (Reserved)
Six-month-old Oglu was abandoned along with his mother after some heartless soul threw them out of a car and then drove off.
They were abandoned on the beach front at Koca Calis beach near Fethiye. Little Oglu was found with half of his ear cut off but otherwise was well.
Fortunately a passerby spotted them and tried to help by taking them in. They kept puppy Oglu and then took his mum to the vet to be neutered.
Unfortunately mother developed unforeseen complications under anaesthetic and died. Poor Oglu was now left all alone with no permanent home.
A temporary foster home has been found for him but he can only stay there for a few short months.
And we are happy to say that someone has already come forward to register their interest in him. We are now going through the adoption process and we are hoping this will be successful.
It is for this reason that Animal Friends of Turkey have stepped in to try to find this lovable pup a new forever home in the UK.
We are taking on the costs of his veterinary care and the preparation of his paperwork needed to allow him to make the journey to the UK in the Summer.
Oglu will grow to be a medium sized dog and will make someone a gorgeous family pet. He is a gentle and affectionate young dog who just wants to belong.
He is waiting or that special person with room in their home and their heart to take him in.
