Abandoned Bambi is such a gentle and sweet girl

Bambi was dumped and abandoned in appalling condition by heartless owners.

She had been left tied up in a village on the outskirts of Fethiye to the gate of property of a known animal lover.

She was skin and bone and terrified. She had been left out in the open in the full glare of the sun.

Bambi is super cat friendly and fine with most dogs

She was found and naturally she was taken in and cared for before being moved to a foster home.

The task now is to find this lovely girl a forever home of her own where she can be made to feel safe and loved.

Bambi is a beautiful girl who loves to play and has lots of energy now that she has regained her strength.

Bambi left just loves her cuddles

She is still a little wary and nervous although this soon passes around people she has got used to.

This is not unusual for a dog that has not been treated well and this will become less and less of an issue once she feels fully settled and secure in a new home.

She is a little nervous of men on first meeting but again she has shown a willingness a trust over time.

Bambi is great around the house

Bambi has taken to living in the house very well, and while she is child friendly she is not very keen on loud noises. We feel a quieter home would suit her well.

She was estimated in January, 2022, as having just turned three years old. She is a medium sized dog of slight build weighing in around 15kg.

She is incredibly cat friendly and she really loves to play with the resident cat in her foster home. It is quite unusual to see a dog so responsive to playing properly with a cat without hurting it.

She’s also good around the free range chickens that run around that back garden.

She is fine with most other dogs although she is not so keen on over exhuberant dogs that are in your face too much.

Bambi is good on the lead but recall is a work in progress, as at the moment will come back but only when she feels like it. She loves running about and sniffing everything she can.

She knows the basic commands of sit, down, paw, move, come, and she really loves her walks and waits for them to do her toilet. She doesnt like doing it in her own garden.

She is a bundle of energy and has now started playing with toys although she is still getting the hang of knowing what to do with them.

She is a gorgeous girl who deserves a loving home where she can be showered with the patient care she needs to flourish and blossom.
