Bruno just needs a loving home where he feels safe & secure – RESERVED

Bruno’s Mum, Pammy, was found dumped next to a trash bin during the fires near Ichmiler, Turkey, in early 2021.

She was heavily pregnant, which is probably the reason she’d been abandoned and sadly kept trying to return to her home, a place she saw as safe in which to deliver her puppies, only to be repeatedly and callously shooed away by her Turkish owner.

Lonely, with no where to go, Pammy eventually made her birthing den in someone’s garden where both Bruno and his Brother, Tye, were born.

No one realised they were living in the garden until the owner of the house heard some squealing and there they were, two little boys, just over a week old.

Bruno is such a handsome boy

As the fires were taking hold of the area, it was really unsafe for them so the house owner kindly found help and the Mum and pups were moved. Ironically one of our nominated foster carers ended up helping them but we didn’t find out about the situation until three months later after she had tried unsuccessfully to find homes for all three. Animal Friends of Turkey of course offered help as there was no future in Turkey.

Gorgeous Bruno just loves affection

Bruno will be a year old in May. He is a lovely boy who has a sweet and gentle personality. He eats so politely but is timid until he gets to know you and therefore will take time to adjust in a new home.

Bruno is a very handsome small/medium dog at approx 16kg. He is quite stocky in build with short legs and looks like a small mixed Kangol. He loves to play, but is the shyer of the two Brothers. He is house trained and mixes well with other dogs, but hasn’t been cat tested as yet. He is currently undergoing some lead training but will require ongoing training.
