Rescue dog Upaz so happy to be finally freed
Upaz was cared for but not in the way that most us would expect a dog to be cared for.
His owner kept him outside where he spent most of his life attached to a long chain.
That is the way he would have remained until the day came that his owner died.
Upaz was left in the garden until animal volunteers in the area stepped in to release him from his chain and take him in.
They eventually came to AFOT to ask for help as he couldn’t stay where he was and needed a permanent home.
We think this gentle boy has suffered enough and so deserves a second chance in a home where he will be loved – a home in which he can thrive.
We estimate Upaz’s age at around eight years old and he is loving life living inside with his new family.
This is the way it always should have been for this gorgeous chap.
He is very friendly and very gentle. He had spent his life on a chain and when he was released and eventually allowed to go inside a house he thought it was wonderful .
He loves going on long walks, he’s not much of a barker and would benefit from going to a home with a big garden.
He has been throughly checked over and he has no health issues and should be ready to travel by the end of the summer.
He is a loyal lad who quickly becomes attached to people. He is loving his first true taste of proper domestic living.
