Labrador-Cross Ellie is just such a shy and pretty girl

In October 2021 AFOT was informed about two litters of puppies that were living next to a busy motorway in the middle of nowhere in Zonguldak Province in Turkey.

We don’t know if they had been dumped but there was no sign of their Mum. They stood zero chance of survival if we didn’t intervene.

Ellie loves being in the house

We arranged transport and camped out for days until we could catch both litters. They were only 8 weeks old and very poorly.

Sadly one of the litters had contracted Parvovirus and one by one died.

The remaining puppies who were eight months old in April 2022 have all turned into glorious Labrador-cross dogs, all with their own wonderful personalities.

ELLIE is a very pretty small/medium sized blonde Labrador-cross who is rather shy until she gets to know you.

Such a pretty girl just looking for her new home

She was quite poorly as a puppy and became very close to her foster Mummy who was caring for her and she loves cuddles.

Ellie enjoys being in the house and loves playing with her toys. She is house trained, enjoys being with other dogs and is cat friendly.

Ellie is currently undergoing lead and harness training, but will require ongoing training. With a Labrador nature, she will make a wonderful companion for the right home.

Now ready for her new forever home, if you feel you could be that special person for Ellie then please check out what’s involved in taking on one of our rescue dogs by clicking this link and reading our Dog Adoption Policy guidelines.

A home check is always made and while there is no adoption fee required, we do ask for a donation with all our dogs to help towards our costs.
