Betsie was rescued as a small puppy and has grown into a pretty, intelligent, friendly girl – the perfect package!

Betsie’s Mum was known to the local rescue as although she was owned, she was neglected and allowed to roam the streets. She was a beautiful dog with a lovely nature who inevitably fell pregnant and had pups.

Those eyes!

Betsie was the last of the pups so she wandered around with her mum. The Mum is streetwise, being just a few months old, Betsie was not and eventually she was clipped by a car. The local street charity stepped in after being asked to help as the next time – for it was only a matter of time – she may not be so lucky. Betsie was picked up and took to a safe place from where she went into foster.

Betsie loves to be in the midst of things

She’s now a year old (July 22) and AFOT has now been asked to help this lovely girl find her own human.

Betsie would benefit so much from her own family and she has such a lot to give in return. She’s a loving, mischievous girl, who is very intelligent and willing to learn, which she does quickly. Ongoing training will be needed and as she is so eager to please, should be a happy and fulfilling task for both Betsie and her new owner.

She’s such a character

This gorgeous girl is great with other dogs and loves their company. She’s a bundle of energy and needs a home who will offer her plenty of stimulation. She would be happy to live with another dog but she isn’t cat tested so we wouldn’t be looking for a home with cats.

Training is a joy with Betsie

Betsie is a medium sized mixed breed girl weighing 20kg. She has striking looks with a beautiful fawn and black coat with a black mask. She is super friendly and loves to be cuddled, stroked and fussed.

If you think Betsie could be the girl for you and you could offer her the life and forever home she deserves then please check out what’s involved in taking on one of our rescue dogs by clicking this link and reading our Dog Adoption Policy guidelines.

Betsie wants a home to call her own

A home check is always made and while there is no adoption fee required, we do ask for a voluntary donation to help towards our costs.

If you want to register your interest in Betsie or are interested in providing a loving home for one of our rescue dogs in general then please complete and submit our Dog Adoption Registration form.
