Bright and perky Missy seeks the home she craves

Missy is a beautiful, playful and confident girl who will fill any home with her big personality.

Missy is one of seven puppies rescued from a town notorious for the cruelty they show street dogs.

The mixed breed puppies were born in the depth of winter and would not have survived but for the kindness of a local who tried to keep them fed and out of harm’s way.

Eventually she alerted a well known animal welfare volunteer to their plight in the hope of finding somewhere more safe for them.

She in turn contacted Animal Friends of Turkey to ask for our help but at that time our Sanctuary and foster care network were full to capacity.

A place was eventually found for them with a foster carer in Kas who managed to look after them for a few weeks before spaces eventually came free with us in AFOT.

They have been with us now since June and they are now around a year old and Missy will be about 16 months old by the time she is ready to travel.

Missy is the more bossy of the seven siblings. She has a wonderful and sweet personality but she is the one who likes to be in charge at play time.

Missy is a beautiful girl with a lovely nature

She can be a little bit rough at times when she is playing because of this but a little bit of training would soon sort this out.

She doesn’t realise quite how big a dog she is and doesn’t always realise that because of this her playfulness can be a little rough.

The ideal home for Missy would be one where there is already an older male in residence.

She is a friendly and loving girl and she is very bright, which should make her very open to the proper training and guidance.

Missy is very dog friendly and very bright

She is very good on the lead and loves her walks and a chance to explore the outside world. A home where she is likely to get a lot of good exercise would certainly benefit her.

Just like all her siblings, she has a truly lovely nature and she is very dog friendly.

She has stunning looks and is a large breed girl weighing in between 25-30kg.

Missy right loves her walks and is great on the lead
