Harry was rescued just in time and now he’s ready for his new forever family

Harry and his sister were only five weeks old when they were placed in a sack that was tied up tight and then hurled into a ditch in a forest. They would most certainly have perished save for a caring passer-by who heard their plaintive whelps and went to investigate.

Harry is such a handsome lad

Thankfully, Harry and sister Amber were rescued and taken to a place of safety to be fed and cared for. An appeal for help went out on social media and a foster carer agreed to take them in while a home was found for them. That was close to two years ago (May 2022) and although his sister Amber has been adopted, poor Harry is still patiently waiting.

Harry is a pleasure to have around and is a real character

Harry is a real livewire and a joy to have around the place. He has a way of talking to you and letting you know he is around and just how happy he is.

Harry just loves cuddles and a good
belly rub

He loves his hugs and affection and likes nothing better than sidling up on to your lap even though he has grown a little bit too big for that. Harry is now a medium sized dog weighing around 22-25kg but that doesn’t stop him from trying to be a lap dog. He gets on well with other dogs and enjoys his walks on the lead. Ongoing training will be necessary as Harry is still a young boy, particularly at heart.

Harry is such a character and always up to something to make you laugh
