Rescue boy Harry ready for his new forever home with his new family

Rescue dog Harry and his sister are lucky to be alive.

The pair were only five weeks old when they were placed in a sack that was tied up tight and then hurled into a ditch in a forest.

They would most certainly have perished save for a passerby hearing they plaintive welps and going off to investigate.

Harry is a loving and affectionate boy who like to crawl up on to your lap

Harry and sister Amber were rescued and taken to a place of safety to be fed and cared for.

An appeal for help went out on social media and a foster carer agreed to take them in while a home was found for them.

That was close to 18 months ago and no luck has been had in finding a permanent home for them.

Harry is a pleasure to have around and is a real character

So now we have been asked to find a permanent home for both Harry and Amber.

Harry is a real livewire and a joy to have around the place.

He has a way of talking to you and letting you know he is around and just how happy he is.

Harry likes to talk to you to tell you how happy he is

He loves his hugs and affection and he loves nothing better than sidling up on to your lap even though he has slightly grown a little bit too big for that.

Harry is now a medium sized dog weighing around 22-25kg but that doesn’t stop him from trying to be a lap dog.

He gets on well with other dogs and is also enjoying his walks on the lead. He will be aproaching two years old by the time her is ready to travel.

Harry has oodles of love to give someone

He is a lovely boy with a big character and we are now set on finding just the right home and just the right person for him.

If you think that could be you then please check out what’s involved in taking on one of our rescue dogs by clicking this link and reading our Dog Adoption Policy guidelines.
