Super friendly Ruby is ready and waiting for her new family

Ruby came into our care after we rescued her and another eight dogs in early October 2021 after hearing of their plight.

Ruby is just such a pretty girl

Found in a Turkish Death Camp, the state of some of the dogs was harrowing, but fortunately we think Ruby had only just entered the shelter as apart from being too thin, hungry and dirty, luckily there wasn’t a lot wrong with her.

Labrador-X looks with a personality to match

Ruby is such a happy and beautiful girl. She looks like a Labrador-cross and has the personality of one. She loves playing and is super dog-friendly although can be a bit timid if too many want to play chase with her at once and she will run back in to her pen for safety!

Smiling Ruby is full of fun

Ruby loves attention and to be stroked and loved with cuddles. She loves playing with the other dogs and running (as long as they don’t get too rough), enjoying the sun, but also loves to snooze in the shade.

Ruby loves to be with the other dogs

She is a happy placid well-rounded girl who loves her walks and walks well on a lead. She’s only young and will benefit from ongoing training which will stimulate her, release some energy and as she’s very eager to please, help to form an amazing bond with her future adopters.

Ruby just turned two in May 2022 and this medium sized girl weighs approx 20 kg.

Always wagging her tail

Please note Ruby lives in our small sanctuary and does not have home experience at the moment, however our aim will be to provide this when her home is secured for a few weeks before she travels, which is our standard practice.

If you’re looking for a funny, cuddly, loving family girl then please check out what’s involved in taking on one of our rescue dogs by clicking this link and reading our Dog Adoption Policy guidelines.

A home check is always made and while there is no adoption fee required, we do ask for a voluntary donation to help towards our costs.
