Cuddly rescue Rosie looking for a home of her own – RESERVED

Champagne-coloured Rosie is a small, lively girl who loves nothing better than a cuddle on the sofa.

Rosie is actually quite a small girl and she has the look that suggests she is part Spaniel and part Labrador.

She is around three-years-old and she has had a chequered past.

Rosie is set to become the centre of someone’s world

Rosie was dumped out on the streets when she was just a puppy and she quickly had to learn to fend for herself.

That was her life until a kind passerby took pity on her and took her in.

She lived in the home for around two years as a pampered pet until her owner became too ill to look after her.

Rosie is a small and cute girl in need of a home of her own

She was taken to the shelter and it was while she was in there that Animal Friends of Turkey was asked to help find her a home.

She is now in AFOT foster care and she has started the preparation needed to get her ready to travel to the UK and to a forever home of her own.

Rosie actually gets on well with other dogs she meets when out on her walks. However, it is clear that this is not the case with dogs that she lives with.

Rosie loves nothing better than a cuddle on the sofa

She has been used to being the centre of attention and gets jealous of other dogs in her home.

She loves her food and probably little too much as she can be a greedy-pie, and she shows signs of food-aggression which can be a problem with other dogs in residence.

It is clear that this girl needs a home where she will be the only dog and a home with adults only.

She is very used to a home life and she loves nothing better than cuddles on her foster mummy’s knee.

Rosie loves her walks and as is great with dogs she meets when she’s out

She knows her name, her recall is good and she is eager to please.

She is really good on walks, excellent on her lead and loves to get out and about to explore the outside world with her foster carer.

She is a pretty girl, very lively and great fun to be around. Her issues of jealousy and food aggression are not unusual for a small dog dumped on the streets and forced to scrap for its survival.

Rosie is just waiting for the right home

In the right home she will thrive and we know she will become the apple of someone’s eye.
