Cuddly Maisie rescued as a tiny pup now seeks happiness in the UK

Maisie was just three months old when she was found wandering lonely and bewildered on her own on the streets of Ovacik in Turkey.

We do not know where her Mum or her siblings were and it was clear that she was scared of the world around her.

She was found by an animal welfare volunteer who fosters for Animal Aid Ovacik and she could not just leave her out there on the streets.

Maisie is a calm and cuddly girl who enjoys her home comforts

It was only a matter of time before the poor young pup was run over or worse.

The foster carer scooped her up and got her fully checked out by the vet before taking her into her home.

She will stay there while she goes through the process of getting all her vaccinations done and neutering.

Maisie will be around 8-9 months old when she is ready to travel

Maisie soon settled into her new surroundings and loved meeting all her dog friends in her new home.

In particular she made a great connection with another rescue dog plucked off the streets in 11-month old pup Lola.

Maisie has become inseparable from fellow rescue pup Lola

The two have become inseparable and we are now trying to rehome both pups.

They can be rehomed individually but such is the bond between them it would great if we could find a new forever home they could share in the UK.

Lola and Maisie are the best of friends

Maisie is a delightful puppy who loves to play. She is confident and is not phased by anything.

She loves her cuddles and loves playing, as well as curling up for a nice nap. She plays well with other dogs and is very placid.

She will soon be tested with cats and also with children to make sure she is OK with them as well. We have seen nothing to suggest will not be.

Maisie is a gorgeous and affectionate girl
