Bonny Bruno finally found a family with hearts as big as buckets

Bruno is a special AFOT baby. We took him in after he lost his leg in a serious car accident. Today he is as happy as can be with his new family in the UK. Here is his original story:

Bruno is a darling of a dog who has really only ever known life inside the shelter.

This charming boy was taken to the Haydos shelter with severe leg injuries when just a pup after he was involved in a car accident.

The vet examined him and decided that the leg was irreparable and so he immediately amputated it.

That was more than two years ago and Bruno is still there.

Bruno is a lovely and loving boy who deserves a new life

Haydos believed they had someone interested in taking Bruno in and giving him a happy and secure life away from the shelter.

Unfortunately they did not follow through on that interest and so Bruno’s wait for someone to rescue went on … and on.

Bruno gets along fine on three legs and nothing holds him back

Bruno is loving lad who is great with other dogs and is both cat friendly and dog friendly.

He is ready made to live a long and happy life in someone’s home far far away from the shelter.

And so with this hope in mind Haydos approached AFOT to ask us if we could help make Bruno’s dream come true.

He is now with an AFOT foster carer and is absolutely loving life away from the shelter and in the comfort of the home.

He has settled in really well and is returning the kindness he is receiving with love and affection.

His foster carer has already nicknamed him “Tea” as he absolutely adores a cuppa.

We believe Bruno deserves to have his dream come and so we are now looking for the right person and the right home for this lovely boy.

Despite the loss of his leg Bruno gets around really well and we suspect he doesn’t really realise that he is not the same as all the other dogs.

Bruno loves other dogs, is cat friendly and as you can see child friendly too
