Tiny girl Rhona dumped at holiday complex in need of a good home
She was lost but now she is found. This little bundle of fun was abandoned to the streets of Turkey before being rescued. Today she is living in leafy East Sussex and enjoying the TLC she deserves
Perky little Rhona is a tiny bundle of fun who just loves people.
Whoever is lucky enough to have this girl will have a lifelong friend as she is one of those dogs that just attaches herself to you.
Rhona was dumped close to a holiday complex in Ovacik near Fethiye after her owners obviously decided they did not want her any more.
She was spotted by people living in the area and she came to the notice of animal volunteers there.
They in turn contacted us at Animal Friends of Turkey and so now we are trying to find her a new forever home in the UK.
Rhona is still young and is a tiny girl. She can even fit through a cat flap to go in and out.
She is much more interested in people than she is in other dogs and ideally she will find a home where she will be the centre of someone’s world.
She is fine with other dogs but she is not much interested in them. Unfortunately it’s not quite the same with cats as she is not great around them.
Rhona is a lovely, obedient girl who likes to keep busy all the time.
She looks to have some of the Jack Russell Terrier breed within her which is probably where she gets her energy from.
Rhona is going to make a great companion for someone and she is now being made ready for her journey to the UK.
We expect this to be early in 2021 after she has completed her full course of injections and tests needed to secure her paperwork.
So if you feel you could be that special person for Rhona then please check out what’s involved in taking on one of our rescue dogs by clicking this link and reading our Dog Adoption Policy guidelines.
A home check is always made and while there is no adoption fee required, we do ask for a donation with all our dogs to help towards our costs.
