Tiny Milly is a beautiful girl loving her new home in the UK

Milly was lost and lonely on the streets after she was abandoned as a young pup. Today she has a new forever home with a new family in the UK. This is her original story:

This sweet little girl has never lived on the streets but she still found herself as a young pup with an uncertain future.

Milly was just over a year old and much loved when her elderly lady owner in Turkey was forced to make the move back to the UK through ill health.

She stayed with a friend and much had been done to prepare her in readiness for a trip to the UK and a reunion with her devoted owner.

Unfortunately the lady’s health deteriorated and so it was no longer possible for Milly to rejoin her.

Milly is small, gentle girl who is good with both dogs and cats

There was no way that a dog that had only known domestic bliss could cope with life on the streets, let alone life in a shelter.

She needed a more certain future and this was when we were approached at Animal Friends of Turkey to see whether we could help find her a new home.

We were happy to help and so we stepped in.

Milly is used to her home comforts having never been on the streets

Milly is a gentle girl who is great with other dogs and is also fine with cats.

She loves her spot on the sofa and will take any amount of fuss and attention.

Milly will be ready to travel to the UK in September when she will be around 16 months old.

She is being cared for by kind foster carers until then.

Milly will make a great companion and a great addition to any family as you can see from these photos.
