AFOT partners with wonderful.org to that ensure every penny counts for us

We are delighted to announce that Animal Friends of Turkey has been confirmed as an official charity partner on the fundraising platform wonderful.org

Wonderful is a growing rival to the crowdfunding site justgiving.com, the site that is used by thousands of individuals to collect sponsorship money.

Justgiving works really well but it comes with one huge drawback – it takes a percentage of every pound raised through its platform for itself.

This even applies if the individual is raising money for charity.

Wonderful.org is a newer not-for-profit platform that has been launched with the aim of addressing this.

Now we have become an official charity partner on their platform it means that anyone raising sponsorship money for us can do so in a way that will ensure that every penny comes our way.

It means anyone using linked with a sponsored event on our behalf, or anyone who just wishes to donate money to us can do so with ease and confidence that it will all go towards our rescue work.

Indeed if you are planning a sponsored event or activity then we would urge you to use wonderful.org as a platform that will allow your supporters to donate with ease.

To do so is easy. You can simply go to the wonderful.org site by clicking here and click on “Create a fundraising page”.

Once you have registered with them then you can set up you page and nominate Animal Friends of Turkey as your chosen charity.

You share your page and anyone wishing to sponsor you can donate directly in support of your event with the monies being passed to AFOT in your name.

We are excited to see who will be first to use it for sponsorship.

Or if you simply want to use the platform to make a straight donation then you can do so by going directly to our page on the wonderful.org site.

You can find the Animal Friends of Turkey page by clicking here and you can then click the Donate Now button.

We are genuinely hopeful that this new partnership will bring a much needed boost to our fundraising capability.
