Little Missy just waiting for her chance of happiness

This sweet girl was found with serious injuries by the side of the road and had to have a leg amputated. Today her past life of pain is behind her as she is now living with another AFOT dog in her new home in Kent. Here is her original story …

Little Missy is a bright young pup who is just hoping her luck will change.

We do not know a huge amount about Missy’s early months and we only came across her when we alerted to her plight by one of our supporters.

Little Missy was spotted in the shelter looking totally forlorn and hopeless.

She had found her way to there after she had been discovered lying injured by the side of a busy road after being hit by a car.

Some kindhearted person took her in to the shelter for treatment.

Unfortunately the injuries to her front leg were so severe that the decision was made to amputate it.

Tiny Missy is still only around a year-old and both her age and her diminitive size will mean she will cope very well with life as a tripod.

She is a lively and gorgeous young girl.

After her plight was alerted to Animal Friends of Turkey we arranged to get her out of the shelter and she is already recovering well in foster care.

She is responding well to life there and getting on fine with the other dogs in foster care there.

She is now being prepared for her journey to the UK and we expect her to be ready for travel sometime around March or April.

Missy has already shown she is good with cats and we will arrange to get her child tested too while she is in our care.

Missy is a sweet girl who is in desperate need of the right home – one filled with love and TLC.
