Becoming a fosterer is so rewarding. Giving a dog a chance to live in a home environment makes all the difference.

Harriet was rescued from an intensive breeding ring and her Turkish foster cared helped her heal from severe neglect and abuse

In Turkey we have wonderful foster carers who look after our dogs from the moment they’ve been vet checked. They help these sometimes traumatised dogs to understand what love is, what good food, a comfortable place to sleep and a secure and caring environment feels like, often for the very first time. A place in which to heal mind, body & soul.

They give the dogs basic training and confidence so they can successfully move on to their forever home.

Dolly travelled from Turkey and needed to decompress

Some of our dogs can need a little more time to adjust and our UK foster carers help the less confident dogs to settle after the adventures of travel from Turkey to the UK. It’s an important role giving both the foster carers and the dog such a wonderful experience.
