AFOT’s goal is always to rescue and rehome our dogs into loving UK forever homes. This is the first time in five and a half years that this may not be achievable.
Rescued as tiny puppies, taken much too soon from their Mother, inherent nervousness and poor socialisation means these four dogs may never be rehabilitated to the point where we feel we can place them into permanent homes.
One of our foster carers in Turkey has secured a piece of his land and is happy to continue their long term rehabilitation in the hope that things may change for Leo, Cooper, Lennox & Tyson. But until that does we need to cover the costs involved. The cost of this is £600 a month.
As a non-profit charity who relies solely on fundraising, we simply cannot afford this and continue the work we do the rescue & rehome the other dogs who so desperately need it in Turkey.
